Interesting problem
Since installing SP2 I cannot install new hardware that is supposed to be XP complient and hence has no drivers with it. I can install devices that have drivers that come with them such as Pinnacle AV/DV (except for the firewire port). Something as simple as CD drive or hard disk will not install properly.
